The issue has been resolved. Lookups for national domains (.sy and .سورية) are working normally again, and domain availability and details now appear when you search. There is nothing you need to do, and we apologise for the inconvenience.

What customers saw: lookups for national domains (.sy and .سورية) were failing, so domain availability or details might not appear when searching. Registered domains kept working as usual, and their websites and email were not affected. When: the issue began at about 18:25 Damascus time on 4 November 2026, its cause was identified at 19:17, and normal service was confirmed by 20:35. Why: the cause lay with an outside provider we rely on for this service. What we fixed: we followed up with the provider until the issue was resolved, then verified that national domain lookups were working normally again.
